日本と中国の絵画、書、工芸品などの東洋古美術、印象派以降の西洋美術などを所蔵。「2点の国宝をはじめとする多彩な美術品はもちろん、庭園の美しさも見どころです」と上仁さん。専用の音楽ホールでのコンサートや市民による作品展も随時催され、五感を刺激する時間が過ごせる。

歌川国芳「荷宝蔵壁のむだ書き」に登場する猫のパブリックアートが出迎えてくれる。1年を通じて6回、コレクションをいかした企画展や特別展を開催。

This museum greets you with public art of the cat that appears in Kuniyoshi Utagawa's "Nitakaragurakabe no mudagaki". A special or themed exhibition of the collection is held six times a year.

創設者・正木孝之氏が蒐集した1,300点のコレクションは、日本の中世禅林文化を俯瞰できる東洋古美術品が中心。建物は茶の湯に造詣が深い正木氏自身の設計。企画展は春と秋の2回。

The collection of 1,300 pieces collected by the founder Takayuki Masaki is centered on ancient Oriental art, enabling you to look back on Japanese Zen culture in medieval times. The building was designed by Masaki himself, who had deep knowledge of the tea ceremony. A special exhibition is held twice, in spring and fall.

白砂青松の景勝地・浜寺公園の近くで、2016年に開館。近代日本画家のコレクションに特化し、文化勲章受章作家39名全員の作品を所蔵。年4回の特別展を通して竹内栖鳳や上村松園などの作品を紹介している。

Opened in 2016 near the picturesque scenery of white sand and green pines and Hamadera Park. Specializes in the collections of modern Japanese artists, housing works of all 39 artists who received the Order of Culture. The works of artists such as Seiho Takeuchi and Shoen Uemura are introduced through special exhibitions held four times a year.

日本を代表する工業地帯、堺泉北臨海工業地帯は夜になると別世界。堺から高石まで続くエリアの風景はまるでSF映画のよう。高石商工会議所ではツアーを組んで、普段は入れない工場などをご案内。工場夜景のアート化を進めている。ツアーは不定期に開催されているので、行きたい人はまずお問い合わせを。

The Sakai Senboku Rinkai industrial area, a representative industrial area of Japan, becomes a different world at night. The scenery of the area stretching from Sakai to Takaishi looks just like that of a Sci-Fi movie. The Takaishi Chamber of Commerce organizes tours of factories and the like that you normally cannot enter. It promotes the making of the night view of factories into art. Tours are held irregularly, so if you are interested in joining a tour, contact beforehand.

高石市では工場夜景のおすすめ撮影スポットに解説ボードを設置。スマートフォンでも撮影しやすいように撮影柱を設置している。手ブレが多い夜も安心。

A commentary board has been installed at the recommended photography spot for the night view of factories in Takaishi City. A shooting prop has been installed to make it easy to take photos even with a smartphone. This helps minimize camera shake so you can take photos at night with peace of mind.
